Meet the Artist

Eric has always appreciated the simple beauty of natural spaces and modest architecture. He graduated from Kendall College of Art and Design in 2004 with a BFA in Function Art. During his time at Kendall College, he honed the skills he would need as a craftsman and painter. Originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan, Eric now calls Northern Colorado home. Eric, his wife, and his two sons spend their days adventuring together. He and his family enjoy restoring old homes, making furniture, nurturing a growing business, investing in the local community, and creating works of art that display the beauty they see around them. Eric loves to see old things made new, and restoration is at the heart of all he does. He paints from a desire to slow down and savor the world around him, and he hopes others can enjoy the same sense of rest and peace through his artwork. Only in slowing down can we see the simple beauties our Creator has given us.

“Slow down and enjoy life.

It's not only the scenery you miss by going too fast – you also miss the sense of where you are going and why."
